For those of you who were absent (or if you would simply like to watch it again) the link to the John Berger video we watched in class can be found here. It does a great job exploring some of the major ideas resulting from Benjamin’s essay and should be useful to you.

For tomorrow (Thursday), please be sure to read through Christine Rosen’s essay “The Image Culture” for class discussion. We will also go over your third (and final) reading response assignment. Lastly, keep in mind that we will be starting our reading of 1984 next week. Although I recommend the Signet Classics edition, you are ultimately free to use whatever edition you find most accessible. If you have any questions about this, please let me know.
